'Our Little World' (2 parts) is a coming-of-age story about Maryam and Mai and their trip to Japan. Here, they had a pleasant time and learned much about the country, each other and themselves. Mai also happened to use her Zoom h4n to record many of the conversations they had...

 

This is essentially a mini travel doco.  It's a time capsule containing memories of me and Maryam when we were 25 and 33 respectively. This project is also my way of expressing my gratitude to God the Almighty Who gave me the opportunity to travel, learn and grow and find a very dear friend. Inshallah, He will accept this humble effort.

 

All of the footage and audio was recorded in Tokyo and Kyoto in 2018.
